Cryosurgery is effective but has the potential for complications. Your ophthalmologist may recommend surgery to reposition the eyelashes. This can be the case if your trichiasis is due to epiblepharon.

A   stye , also known as a   hordeolum , is a bacterial infection of an   oil gland   in the   eyelid . The outside or the inside of the eyelid can be affected. A rare form of eye cancer, retinoblastoma is the most common form of cancer affecting the eye in children. Retinoblastoma may occur in one or both eyes.
